Summary
- Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in PACU care.
- This full-time position is based in Branford, CT, and requires working Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:30pm.
- The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a post-anesthesia care unit setting, where you will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- Minimum of three (3) years of PACU nursing experience.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
- Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
- Completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
- Completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of employment.
- Ability to correlate clinical data with patient care.
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Proficiency in setting priorities and directing clinical care efficiently.
- Capability to provide patient care in emergency situations.
- Experience in planning and implementing patient care standards.
